Plakias

Plakias became recently popular and attracts more and more visitors because of the beautiful beaches of the area combined with the original Cretan character of the villages. Driving to Plakias, you will be amazed as you cross the breathtaking Kourtaliotiko gorge. Plakias is located 40km south from Rethymno city, with which it is frequently connected by bus. The distance to Heraklion and Heraklion airport is ca 110km.

Villa Lappa is situated 80m uphill and has a breathtaking view to the surrounding area and the gulf of Plakias. Description: The elegant villa consists of 14 rooms built on the same level, a small reception area, breakfast room, bar, TV area and patio. The whole building was constructed in 1987 and fully renovated in 2006. Rooms are equipped with beautiful furniture, telephone, TV, hairdryer, shower/WC. They also have balconies and many of them have a beautiful sea view. Rooms are allocated upon arrival. Air-conditioner and fridge are available if requested with an extra daily charge of 6 euros and 3 euros respectively. 1-2 extra beds can be provided. We also provide a generous breakfast, which is enriched with Cretan delicacies cooked by Ms Irini 2-3 times per week.
